Simplest type of condensate trap based on nozzle technology for safe condensate discharge. Nozzle condensate traps have no moving parts, only a nozzle that ensures the function. Condensate in front of the nozzle is discharged into the condensate line through the nozzle opening by steam pressure. The reduction of the nozzle opening occurs due to the last amounts of very hot residual condensate, forming back pressure steam on the condensate side of the nozzle cross-section.
